But how has SGR contributed?


All they have done is improve speed of clearance which means more revenue booked over same period. SGR has nothing to do with port efficiency as goods are only loaded onto the trains after clearance

More efficiency, more transparency and less need of corrupt cfs as cargo doesnt pile up.That how to fight graft. If the trend continues the economy wins.We should already be on more SGRs all over the country.

Automation and efficiency definitely beat corruption and tax evasion. There's massive room for improvement all over - at $70B gdp KRA could be collecting 20B+ ... yet now they get 13B?

If EACC,  DPP keep this up corruption will decline. Imagine losing all the assets,  jail and mega fine - 3 times the theft - this greedy pig will be an excellent lesson to others.

I think going after Chumos & Gakuos shows GoK has access to all records - and that mkono wa sheria ni mrefu. Okemo & Gichuru - old Kplc sacred cow - would be an excellent example.
