It always reminds me of Fawlty Towers (Hotel) comedy.
Basil, the owner, runs a middle class hotel. He believes the hotel would run very nicely if only these guests would stop coming around. They are the ones who cause all the problems. Of course he has some exceptions - the rich, famous and aristocrats. Since these people are least likely to come to this hotel, not least because of his (Basil's) reputation, those who come there are least likely to please him.
