Microsoft buys GitHub for $7.5B

After acquiring LinkedIn for $30B... now this. I wonder if Frank Quattrone was involved. The FAANGs - especially Google, Apple and Microsoft - are cutthroat in this race for the mighty developer. Kaggle (AI cloud) recently went to Google for a secret fee. Microsoft bought Semantic Machines (AI) in May. Oracle bought DataScience.com (AI cloud) in May. Another cloud thing was snapped by  Google last month. Israeli cloud startup Velostrata.
