State has no money to finance projects, Henry Rotich says
« on: March 07, 2018, 04:13:47 PM »
And we are told everything is going according to plan. Uhuruto will finish this country by 2022. Where are the huge loans they have borrowed gone too?

Why only go for the money allocated to counties when the biggest wastage is in the 85% being gubbled by the national govt?

Quote
Mr Rotich also revealed a proposal to slash the billions allocated to counties by between Sh15 billion and Sh17 billion.

Has he factored in the 30% annual theft?  Maybe this year they steal only 10%?

Govt. workers have not been paid. Counties have not been paid. Contractors have not been paid. Who else?

There is no way GoK can be broke. I think Rotich is looking for easy way to float more bonds and loans.
