There is a lot of damning shit IEBC has hidden about transmission.  A whole lot.  There is simply no other sensible conclusion one can come up with.  The pressure needs to be kept on them.  Chebukati might crack some more and leak a few more memos.  That seems to be the only hope of learning anything with transmission from IEBC.

OT MORPHO is now pushing for external audit of its servers used on 8th August, says IEBC has gone silent on proposals to have audit.

I am not aware if anybody has resisted audit of KIEMS and the servers. Safran has done an internal audit. IEBC promised to do audit. We are all waiting for the audit results.

Does OT-Morpho contract cover October elections or does IEBC have to sign a new contract?
On auditing Issues IF this morpho is going to take part in any election in Kenya a full audit by external auditor has to take place. Nasa should also insist on RTS system
to be hosted in Kenya...we don't want those excuses of Servers vendors are a sleep....
I do also think a full audit of IEBC assets is crucial.

You just don't want the election coz you know you'll be beaten. It' technically impossible to host  servers in Kenya before 30th. It possible of course to pay them more so they can stay awake 24hrs every day.

Not sure what the agreement is.  But they might have Morpho long term.  I am not particularly concerned with Morpho.  Bribery convictions and all - it's what is often required to get business in the third world, and Africa in particular. 

Once they get the business they are smart enough to demarcate where their role starts and ends.  In this case it seems they supply the technology; but they don't necessarily decide the use case for IEBC.

If their client chooses to use their equipment and sends KIEMS transmissions to a dummy server that nobody knows about,  they probably don't care and it's not their part of the deal to care.  That is why they "cannot understand" the claims of hacking(a very loosely used term in the general population).

Njoki attached a lot on the Morpho self audit. The fact that the IEBC has refused to open the servers claiming it must back up etc was dismissed by her. Now we have a letter which the IEBC had in its possession which shows that all the arguments against an audit or opening up the servers are false.
