ODM Nyanza isolated
« on: August 16, 2017, 01:08:07 PM »
The so called summit is split. Raila wants to confront the Government. Kalonzo wants to negotiate with Jubilee for some of his people to be appointed. Mudavadi wants to go back and rebuild his own party or quit. He thinks Luhyas can make a deal when times comes for now they should lay low. Joho feels vulnerable and wants to work with other governors to shield himself from GOK wrath. ODM nyanza wants raila to let this matter be.

My take: Raila will issue non-committal statement. He will continue campaigning for 2022. To him 2022 is about stopping Kalonzo and Mudavadi from taking over ODM after they betrayed him in 2007 and 2013 respectively

Raila has already said he is not running again.

And your 2022 speculation is nonsense. You're saying he would rather reward Ruto than either Kalonzo or Mudavadi? Kwenda huko....lol! :D
