Where I come from holds a world record of number of hailstone per year..about 50 days on average hail stones fall in Kericho every year..and has world record of 113 days I think 1965- that is about hailstorm every 3 days. Of course my place in Konoin once recorded I think rain nearly everyday in 1961 or some year like that.

In Kericho - when it suddenly rain - that is an hailstone - or when it rains & it's warm - that is hailstone coming.

Kericho is interesting - it gets very hot & sunny from early morning with near zero humidity till around 2ish - then rain falls (prematurely) as hailstorm -  around noon. If it delay - to around 5pm - then it become normal rain.

Here is Marinyin where I started schooling- about 20kms from my rural abode - I have been to many places but few places can beat the fresh air of Kericho.

I thought Pundit is from Bomet. It seems to depend on the issue at hand :D

yeah Bomet county - but Konoin is just 5kms from Kericho town - and my home is 25kms from Kericho - and about 50kms from Bomet. Most of tea estates are in Konoin.
