Their society is so racist. I really cannt stand Indians and Arabs attitude towards other races. These fuckers are just had news. My dad made a serious mistake sent my brother there for school. Unfortunately he was stabbed to death by a taxi driver. The reason he paid him in an old paper money. The indifference of this fuckers and their greed for money.

This is just wrong. Indians in Kenya work hard and reap the rewards. When Kenyatta in 60-70s kicked out Indians from Retail(dukawallas) they went to Manufacturing and made even more money. Kenyans should seek to learn from Indians,Arabs and Chinese.

Kenya leadership in 1967 thought they were reigning Indians via Trade Licensing Act & Immigration Act of 1967 that severely limited indian participation in retail business (restricting them from operating in many towns) but they never imagined indians would go BIG into manufacturing and become even more wealthy & influential.

We need to learn from Indians in Kenya. If we had embraced Indians rather than trying to restricting their participation in our economy - they might have helped us develop quicker than we have.We ended up having few developed rural towns where indian operated and absolutely shanty market places everywhere else.

Sick people like Omollo or Shikuku who have issues with Kikuyus and Indians should be ignored.

Precisely!! Indians own the manufacturing sector very few Africans have ventured into manufacturing. They formed their own enclaves with hospitals, schools , banks etc .

In your hurry to defend Indians from an imaginary attack, you missed simple facts. Kenyatta used strong arm tactics and expelled Indians. I am against the expulsion of citizens for any reason.

Moi simply removed all those restrictions. Indians could open retail businesses and Africans could obtain wholesale licenses etc. He allowed all people who need to the right to construct petrol stations and the monopoly of Indians and oil companies just died off. This was mostly felt in Western Kenya where the very might Shell Oil cut its loses and ran for dear life!

Kenyans have been very forthcoming towards Indians. They have however met a wall built on the rocks of the caste system.

I believe if one removes whatever restrictions or bottlenecks keeping Africans out of manufacturing they would again prove too competitive for the Indians.

Indians did not run away from wholesale and retail business because of regulations and laws. They ran away from competition. They were used to zero competition.

The problem now existing for most African traders is the cartels formed to elbow Africans out of Distribution Business. Indian manufacturers are importing illegals from all over Asia buying them work permits and then setting them up in different parts of the country as part of distribution network. Some can't speak a word of Swahili or English. This must end.

Amin expelled Asians. Kenyatta Jomo didn't. Kenyatta africanisation policy where indians were then required to have work permits and restricted in areas they could trade - besides being forced out of retail business - made many of them emigrate. Those that remains shifted to manufacturing and right now we have the same scenario we had in 60s...Asians dominate manufacturing with Africans still learning the ropes. The same exact scenario played out in West Africa - where Lebenase were hedged out of retail and they shifted to manufacturing.

I don't know much about moi policy towards Indians or Asians - and if he had any - I tend to think Moi co-opted the Indians as friends as his fought the assault  from mainly Kikuyu& Luo elites throughout 80s and 90s.I would wager to say under Moi - Asians grew, taught moi how to play corruption game and started to exert their influence.

The question now is for Africans to understudy the Asian manufacturing and take over. I think we've done well as dukawallas. Now let start to do more serious stuff like Asians are doing here.
