Kenya is run by crooks. Nairobi is the capital. It attracts the worst of the lot. This fool can actually win it.
In a place that has already found him good enough to be a
senator, I see no reason to worry about his possible election as governor. True, he is a rough fellow. But in terms of morals, character, etc. he is no worse than many of the "superior" candidates. Get him a good tailor, train him to speak in a more polished manner ... and he should fit in quite well with the rest.
As to what the city actually needs and who would be best placed to deliver, the commentary on Kenyan media suggests that very, very few are concerned with that. Tribe, political games, etc. are what seem to excite the majority.
