I see no reason why they should complain about good old trading in politicians. It is as old as the real prostitution. Moi bought MPs in Central and then lost them all at elections. Kibaki bought people like Kulundu in Kakamega and saw them confied to oblivion.
Being an MP is now over rated in terms of influence. Raila could try to by an MP in Kiambu but would still not get a single extra vote there. If Mudavadi's running mate failed to vote for him, how can it be different in NEP?
I pity anybody who thinks he can change a whole people with a few coins. Its like Raila going to campaign in Kiambu or Nyeri and expecting "new votes" from there.
