The body is supposed to be independent. So why did it suspend tenders in anticipation of the passage of amendments?

I have to give it up to the African though.  This shit should have been happening late 2013, early 2014, not 8 months to elections.  Anybody that tells you they can deliver on such a system and have it ready, tested, secure, staff trained and prepared in the remaining time should automatically be disqualified.

Chaos is how they win. Those who stole the 2007 elections were happy with the finding that "no clear winner could be determined".  If they know they cannot win then they create chaos and make sure that a clear determination cannot be made. Since they are in power they stay in power.  This is why I believe Cord should not participate in the elections until this matters are sought.  I believe that the infrastructure for free and fair elections is more important than the roads and railroads we spend so much money on because when elections go wrong it creates chaos, lose of life and limbs. We should therefore spent as much time, money, and human recourses as possible to fix this problem once and for all.
