I also believe so. Ouru has seen the writing on the wall just like Kibaki saw in 2007 but is determined to retain power no matter what. The only difference is that Kenyans know this is going to happen unlike in 2007 when opposition was blind to think that it was going to be like 2002 when Moi ceded power easily. Another difference is that in 2007 the West leaned hard on Raila, promised him nusu mkate plus a shoe-in come 2013. Nobody will ever accept such a deal in this time and age. The US or the British nolonger have any moral authority under Trump or Brexit to lecture anybody about peace. Ironically the only people who can save Kenya from this Train-Wreck are the patriotic/prominent kikuyus who have been the beneficiaries of kikuyu hegemony on power and economic larges. They are the ones who can prevail on Ouru not to drive this country to the ground but they can only do this if they believe the opposition is ready and brave enough not to blink this time. We are at a time when peace and unity can come only out of strength and refusal to compromise the peoples rights not to be enslaved by a certain group of people no matter how you want to describe them.
