CBK being the public bankers should do more apart from just regulations on cash withdrawal and deposits given all monies to these thieves comes from Central Bank. Will the Ngugi guy end up just like Mutunga??

What can they do?  I think their hands are tied.

It was legally withdrawn. And signed off by uhuru appointed CS. I have faith in Njoroge's central bank.

The verdict is yet out ...with regard to So called Eurobond it comes out that as an academic he will go with technicalities - as long as documents trail is there and signed it is okay.

His experience with Imperial Bank and NYS payments however should tell him he is dealing with crafty thugs some respected private sector captains and technocrats with decades of experience in stealing

He can free his hands .... more active role in IFMIS and Banking Fraud unit

Nothing seem to have happened to Mugwanja and crew at Banking Fraud Investigation Department (BFID)  after NYS dealings and now this

Quote
The bank's Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) is on the spot for not promptly averting further loss of funds after the transacting bank raised a red flag when it received instructions from former acting Chief Executive Officer of Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) Catherine Namuye, to pay Sh115 million to Quorandum Limited.

Njoroge has to clean up. He cannot fight this alone. He need to fire all the previous holders of top position and hire himself a new team.

Looks Njoroge has been working on the book cooking in the banks for a start given the look of things in the annual reports

Quote
National Bank of Kenya has reported a surprise Sh1.2 billion loss for the year ending December 31, 2015 compared with a profit of Sh1.3 billion in the same period last year.

The bank attributed the loss to heavy provisions and a loan impairment charge that increased by Sh3.2 billion over the period.

Or is it all about tax evasion/evading? All these profit warnings, losses, NPLs....state of economy clues?? M-Pesa effects??

Njoroge seems to be more occupied with strength of marathoners than on strength of our financial sector and its role in the corruption drama

There must be (a) serious systemic reason(s) why all these Kenyans who come riding on high chariots and public goodwill are so underwhelming.

They're selected.

And after the debacle that was Githongo and Miguna, very carefully.
