The part about not having said what he said is crap. He said it.
However the media exaggerated and he did nothing to set the record straight. He is a lawyer so we know he played with words knowing that others will misunderstand him. So fudging was the intention.
Is he going to cross to Jubilee. I doubt it but who knows. Why?
1.a He made enough from betraying ODM in 2007 - even stealing an ODM seat
2. b. He made enough from Turkan Oil and will continue to as a shareholder having taken part of his payment for the block in stocks. So he is financially stable and Jubilee would have to cough blood to get him - not that it is impossible.
3. Post Shikuku Ugali Western is a dangerous place to play traitor politics. Here are examples
i. Khalwale had his car burnt to ashes and has since learned to respect wanainchi
ii. Health Minister Minister the Late Kulundu was unable to call a single public rally in his constituency because of his support for Kibaki
iii. Mudavadi lost badly to Akaranga and has never recovered. Nobody trusts him not to sell people to the highest bidder
That said Wetangula had to say something to counter ODM. What I don't understand is why he did not arrange his own rallies in Vihiga, Busia, Kakamega and Bungoma. The more the merrier
So, Batman has never told a falsehood his whole political career?
Face it, Weta will always say what's in his personal interest to say.
