Uhuru, Ruto get cozy, crack jokes at DP's first village houseRuto said during the funeral ceremony that villagers have found it difficult to believe he is the Deputy President.

He said that when he arrived the previous day, many told him they still viewed him as the ordinary Ruto they knew years ago.

The DP spoke of a childhood friend known as Clement, whose name has been corrupted by locals to 'Kilimendi'.

Ruto told Uhuru that his presence at the village indicated things had changed.

Uhuru 'confirmed' in his address that Ruto is the Deputy President.
