I see nothing there. Raila was asked about the Jubilee rumors (I counted upto 13 MPs who have alleged ) that CORD wants power sharing. He outlined the CORD position. It looks like you are insinuating that he wants in government. Why would CORD commit suicide?

Raila will want a "fair playing ground"...so this idea of transitional gov...to organize free and fair election in December...would seem appealing to both CORD and elected leaders..fearing election. I hope that part of the constitution cannot be amended without a referendum. Elections should be held on August. I hope we can fire the current IEBC and reconstitute a fresh one soon enough.

If there is a transitional government it would be that even Jubilee wants it. It would arise in even Uhuru's lawful term of office ends and he lacks the mandate to preside over state affairs.

Why should that situation be allowed unless Jubilee hopes to benefit from it somehow? CORD has planned for elections in 2017 August. Any prolonging of government beyond that date would offer no benefits to CORD. The current government is so Kikuyunized it would take 30 Moi regimes to cut it to size. There can be no level playing field by participating in government. Level playing field is composed of three elements in my books:

1. Equitable supply of clean and dirty campaign funds
2. Equal Access to power levers
3. Neutral Electoral Body

We will meet one and are fighting for three. We have no chance on two and will improvise including leveraging 1 to gain access to 2.

Their is no unlawful term of the president. He stays until a new one is sworn in.

Raila had all of it going to 2013 and yet lost. Once again he is barking at the wrong tree. Kenya election start and end with Ethnic MATHS. I don't think IEBC are pro-Jubilee. I think they are just corrupt & incompetent. The body is full of third grade lawyers. The next one should hopefully be mixed. Some guy who is an expert in procurement and supply chain. Some guy who is a technology expert. Someone who is an expert in elections. And maybe throw in the usual lawyers.

As for CORD - they need to take hard look at themselves - and find a winning formulae. That might involve Raila stepping down and whole of gang..supporting somebody like MaDVD or Isaac or Gideon Moi....somebody who can win them votes they don't have. Anything but not a repeat of 2013 where they get beaten again.

They have to understand that GEMA+Kamatusa is not beatable. So what about saying giving Munya the job. That takes 1m votes off Jubilee in the meru block. What about giving a Luhya the ticket..that might spur the weakest and yet most lethal support base to register and vote.

But let us bark at IEBC then next IEBC;
