Indeed, everybody knows the money is not going to be recovered.  That is something that has NEVER been tried in Kenya.  The perps are well known.

When they say such and such a lady just walked out with Ksh. 800 million, that's history.  Nobody, of note, even remotely suggests that maybe blocking the exit and taking the money back is a viable idea.

if Judiciary is compromised and Parliament and executive are compromise then I think a Coup will be the most sensible way of restoring order in Kenya. the way things are can not continue we can not continue having 75% of Kenyans being excluded from any economic activity and think we are progressing, Kenya needs a real revolution that will displace all corruption networks

Fast tracking down to Zimbabwe's hyperinflation. I'm waiting for the moment Uhuru announces a remedy by printing more money. 100 billion dollar note with his face on it.

Now Devolution Ministry says the documents presented to PAC were the wrong ones.  How hard is it to print a report from IFMIS?  Why must it take 14 days for them to come with the correct figures?  Why can't they just print the information from IFMIS?  IFMIS, a very expensive system, should easily accomplish this feat.

The Ministry of Devolution now says the document that was presented to Parliamentary Accounts Committee on Tuesday contained inconsistencies and was the wrong one.

While appearing before the same committee Wednesday afternoon, Devolution Principal Secretary Peter Mangiti, who was appearing for the second day and accompanied Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru, said there was a mix-up in the figures and the document presented to the committee had factual errors.

Mangiti told the committee that the original and factual figures that were refined will be readily available for its inspection in two weeks.
