On a serious note, you would have a reasonable chance of making it better than you would in Kenya.

Land is relatively cheap and prices far lower than Kenya. A dollar goes further than 100 shillings in Kenya. The people are honest and crime is practically non existent by Kenyan standards. A highly educated population that values education.

There is national discipline where the things makangas do in Kenya would shock an average zimbabwean. I have not penetrated the rural areas but I understand life is good.

Yes.  A starving billionaire.

They will find that helpful in boosting the population, given that most Zimbabweans who can do so have moved out or are trying to move out.

This includes Kenyan aka foregin nationals- being part of British protectorate. Good luck in purchasing land.

Since winning another term, Mugabe has vowed to push ahead with a black empowerment programme to force foreign and white-owned businesses to cede 51% ownership to black Zimbabweans. Some economists warn that the programme will trigger another economic downturn similar to that Zimbabwe suffered after Mugabe's government seized white-owned farms in 2000.

Mugabe, however, says the economic plan to force black control of companies will create jobs and economic growth that had been hindered by what he called "a tenuous and fraught coalition with uneasy partners" in the opposition led by former prime minister Morgan Tsvangirai.

Tsvangirai had favoured attracting western investment during the five-year coalition forged by regional leaders after the last disputed elections in 2008.

Mugabe says Britain has opposed black empowerment since he forced thousands of white farmers to surrender their land. Critics of the programme say it disrupted Zimbabwe's agriculture-based economy, shut down industries and scared away foreign investment in mining and other businesses.

In my opinion Rwanda, Ethiopia are two countries that have built a good foundation and will develop fasteer than any other. Nigeria is struggling with graft while Kenya is in the same boat.

Mugabe is just another example of your African despot short on the rudiments of economics but way long on emotionalism and false patriotism. For sure, Mugabe would flunk Econ 101.

Excellent point there -- folks like the impressive Mthuli Ncube easily come to mind.

In economics when there is pure blood on the block that is when you run in or out. Currently, that is the situation in Zimbabwe. That was the same in Kenya in late 80s.
