Just when we thought we had heard it all, news coming out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport indicates that Lucy Mbugua has been suspended - again! she becomes the first person on earth to be suspended while still serving another suspension! The KAA Board has chosen to play a game of semantics by calling the latest suspension an "interdiction". It's time to reach for your dictionaries people!

It is not the Authority per se that has to be privatized. It is the non regulatory functions such as service provision etc. The KAA would then remain a referee.

I propose that the services be advertised for each and every airport separately. No company should be granted a monopoly. In fact the services can be split within each airport to get more players.

In any case KAA does not offer cleaning services. This was privatized. It is therefore not a new idea
