I saw that stranded school bus with kids in it and no rescue in sight for hours.  Not even the drug fueled Sonko rescue team to win some cheap publicity.

They were "rescued" by red-cross after the water levels subsided.  That means that if the water levels did not subside, there was nothing that could have been done for them.  Maybe Kidero can invest in inflatable rafts for the fire brigade, when he gets a break from stealing.
