Anyone can produce their version of the Bible. Kanye West has his; Book of Yeezus

Sects too are not left behind. If you have trouble pushing your doctrines through existing translations, the last resort is;
1. Faulting/discrediting ALL existing translations as 'full of fundamental errors','inaccurate'
2. Producing your own translation sympathetic to your peculiar doctrines
3. Legitimizing your (per)version by appealing to authority; get theologians' nod and you are good to go
4. Circulate it within your sect

If you shout #1 hard enough, we will panic and wonder how we can lay hold of the Word of God. Your solution is to give us #2. And lest it be dismissed as a sectarian paraphrase, appeal to authorities.

So I run into this work-in-progress translation Spirit of Prophecy Version by one Jeffrey Ho...
It is
 '..the MOST ACCURATE English translation...'
'....we have a translation that, for the first time in history.....corresponds with the present truth....'
'.....All other translations which have ever been made are based on the incorrect premise....'

I wonder what sect is behind Jeffrey Ho, too embarrassed of owning their translation, they would have a Ho fronting it
