Kasongo and Kibaki should never be mentioned in the same sentence unless you are talking about where the next Kibaki is going to come from so they can fix Kasongo’s mess. Kasongo is a political conman and just like Moi, people around him know that he is incapable of of any visionary leadership. He has three categories of supporters, those directly benefiting from his corruption, ignorant tribalists, people with low expectations. It’s time Kenyans supported a non politician like Maraga, Matiangi etc I have heard Matiangi talk and he can explain things like the best of them. The only reason that I like Kalonzo is because he was part of a very successful Kibaki regime and in a country of tribal math nonsense, he stands the best chance in the second round. RVHH, in Muranga for example, a lot of grifters will lie to you, they will say anything for a buck. The fact is, Kasongo is done in Kikuyu Mt Kenya, he will get less votes than Raila did in the last election. I think someone like Ndidi(not because he is a kikuyu) with his record in Muranga can give us a little taste of Singapore or at least change some place like Nairobi but of course this will never happen, Kenyans are addicted to loud mouths and mediocrity.
You are still stuck on tribal math yet we're in a new dispensation. This is why a candidate like Riggy G who will run on a tribal ticket is heading nowhere and so will anyone who has zero policies to provide to Kenyans except "wantam" and "Kasongo must go." You speak a lot in support of the Gen-z's yet ironically, you believe tribal math will apply to them. Isasadthing.
Listen to the man above and tell me whether he can explain anything coherently. He is all over the place, with special emphasis on the twin claims thus;
1. Miguna"lost" his citizenship. A citizen by birth can never lose their citizenship. The courts ruled so multiple times and these.rulings have never been reversed.
2. That "there are two court rulings that..." This is balderdash as he is referring to rulings neither germane to this case, nor against Miguna specifically. Yet there were (and are) MULTIPLE court rulings against him to a) Restore Miguna's passport b) Allow him to return to Kenya even with just his National ID Card c) For contempt of court on the Miguna case d) That he (Matiangi) is unfit to hold public office.
Does he sound smart to you for arguing the way he does?
Isitoshe, do you want this sort of temperament and mentality to rule over a precious country like Kenya? If this guy beat 1 in a million odds and became president, he would be 100 TIMES WORSE than Sani Abacha style dictators. He cannot reason his way coherently through very clear cut issues. He is insecure about a little person like Migush expressing a contrary opinion. What is it that Miguna did that warranted an illegal deportation?
And please remember this is the same chap under whom the river Yala body dumps happened.
That's why I say it's the height of comic relief that Matiangi can even feature in a discussion about the Kenyan presidency.
That he is hardworking is not in doubt. Idi Amin was hardworking. Pol pot was hard working. Hitler was the hardest working of all.
Ndindi Nyoro is also hard-working but a political greenhorn still wet behind the ears who won't get much support beyond his constituency.
To put your hope on Kalonzo who did not even build a cattle dip in Mwingi for 30 years as MP is like hoping rivers will start to run uphill.
