Held talks with the leadership of the China Communications Construction Company led by Chairman Wang Tongzhou in Beijing, China.

Discussed various projects such as the Rironi-Mau Summit-Malaba dual carriageway, Galana-Kulalu Irrigation Project, Bomas International Conference Centre and the expansion of the SGR into the region.

SGR - to Malaba - if we get a 10-year grace period - means we can start repaying in 2035 - when the current SGR will be fully paid. So it will have zero immediate impact on our finances.

Mombasa-to-Nairobi dual - Americans seem to still cling on it but I don't see them nailing finances
Nairobi-to-Mau Summit- to Malaba dual - If we get PPP from China - that will absolutely great.

Ruto just need to finish those two projects - Lower cost of living like he is doing - continue to roll out electricity and rural paved roads - and he will win re-election in 2027

Ruto is out to line his pockets and not to define his legacy. Most likely he can top the 500B Uhuru made from this project.

Add Adani's grab of JKIA on top and Ruto and his next 10 generations after him will not need to work for a day for the rest of their lives.

10% nayo lazima...yeye na watu yake...will get what belong to ceasar.

Airport ni mambo ya middle class - kele-kele mingi - real voters will care about tarmac kwao, water etc

The abductions and killings have turned many against him. What I'm hearing from people in Kenya is that 2027 is too long for them to wait to get rid of him.  It's not about projects. People have no jobs and NO MONEY! No way he can fix that huge problem in 3 years. What good is a road if you can't feed your family??

Pundit - You are still in total denial.

Hawa they lied to Peter Kenneth - he should be Deputy President now - after being governor of Muranga.

I'm listening to both and also people on the ground. Ruto is despised by almost everyone I've talked to. Like....intensely despised.  One person even suggested that he should be expired before 2027.

They're all saying the economic collapse. No money. No jobs. Businesses failing. Inflation. Life is becoming too difficult. Then add on the taxes and it just inflamed them plus the corruption of people like murkomen.

Which inflation when Ruto has brought down cost of living? Inflation is down to 4%. Maize is being sold at 2,200 a gunia - from 7,000 recently.

In short  Ruto is doing great - and online hate - is just senseless.

Inflation is down to 4%.
Nearly everything is gone down - Maize is cheap, sugar cheap, edible oil cheap, cooking gas cheap.
Dolar is down to 128%.

Only thing still expensive is petrol/diesel.

What causes inflation ? Wacha uwongo .
