Ruto is now global leader - Africa president
« on: May 24, 2024, 08:45:28 AM »
When I predicted he would become the new Meles Zenawi - I didnt think it will happen so fast.

But seeing US Superpower lay the carpet for Ruto just a year into his presidency shows Ruto is unstoppable.

Well if he crown Raila it will cement his clout in AU. It's why I laugh at fools saying don't send KDF to Haiti.

But the best achievement Ruto can deliver for Africa is level the "global financial architecture" [sic] - basically bridge the astronomical cost of Africa loans compared to West or Asia.

Ruto is black Zelenskey.

He'll get funds only for LGBTQ, military, and other degenerate behaviour. Americans are enslaving/racially profile USA blacks in prison and Ruto believe they now want to help black Kenyans.

That’s great, maybe he can steal from the rest of the world and leave Kenyans alone. Kenyans are amazing people, how impressionable they are, it’s childlike or a cave man seeing fire for the first time. Is Ruto the first president to get a state visit? The Ukrainian guy is there almost every week. All that promised stuff, read the bottom line. The USA does not give anything for free and some of them will have to go through the senate etc, that’s a long process, it may never happen in your lifetime not unless Meg pays from her own pocket, she is a a billionaire and seems taken by Ruto. The rest of the country is busy dealing with flood mitigation.

All Kenya needed was a sober, laborious, hard-working President with Kenya at heart to elevate everyone's pocket. When the middle class has money and can handle their basic needs, you can call it a success. Are we there yet? Not yet, because of decades of mismanagement and stifling of the free market, the flow of capital, and corrosive corruption (Especially during the last six years of Uhuru administration). Are we turning a corner, yet bet your ass Kenya is. With all the work being done in a few years, Kenya will reelect the President in the most significant way possible. He is doing the right things, but it is hard to see now. Companies bringing capital to Kenya, elevating the private sector, and preparing them to thrive in the interconnected global marketplace will slowly unleash many jobs for the masses, especially young people.
I wish politics could stop and all the leaders could push hard to solve problems. The President is doing well on the big-ticket items, but he is threading the needle on local issues and politics. I still believe in firing corrupt idiots like Murkomen, Linturi, and other nonperforming CS/PS. He must send a clear message to all to respect the DP, regardless of leadership style. The office of the President is a constitutional office that should never be politicized or undermined in any way.

I promised the President constructive/data-driven criticism, which I would deliver every six months on his Whatsapp platform after watching and analyzing the country's mood through thousands of comments and general sentiment. One is due in about three months.

I am suprised that Ruto has not fired anybody going into 2nd year.

Kenyans are not seeing the changes yet. The economic situation has not turned for them so the jury in my book is still out on Ruto and Ndii.  Sub-saharan Africa appears to be a total mess right now and Kenya is the only bright spot so Ruto gets the accolades. Who else is there? Ruto appears to have replaced Kagame. What happened to Kagame? He was the darling of the west, but I guess his anti-democratic tendencies have made the west tired of him.

In 3 months when you talk to ruto, tell him to deal with the corruption issue and fix the courts. Next to be dealt with is sakaja who seems to be failing and fire others like that useless health CS.

What has saved kenya in Africa is it's democracy not matter how messy, Kenya's democracy is the best in Africa.

Seems the grand illusion is getting into him to be bothered by petty issues. Not bothered even by current wrangles in KK.

Did Ruto peak in May per pundit, and now downfall to sub baseline values?

Or Ruto popularity as "Meles zenawi" world leader is consolidating before another meteoric rise based on pundit metrics?

Ruto speaks, people die, he misses the good old days of imperial presidency, right now, he is in isolation surrounded by Millitary, let him try nonsense, atajionea. He is a weakened lame duck presidency, the people around him cannot even go back to their constituents, the only guy is Gachagua, he has village instincts, he jumped two days earlier, it’s actually an amazing talent.By the way, I hate Gachagua too but he proved me right, you cannot mess with Nyeri kiuks, they are educated but still militaristic, Kiambu guys like me just want a peaceful country where I can have a little fun.

Ruto's doing a poor job at hustling the global stage.

Instead of attracting investors like the Chinese (Uhuru) to meet deficits, Ruto wants to hike taxes which is unheard of for a right wing leader, milking his own people into embracing communist ideals. Ruto has paper hands and lacks spine. Ruto's lack of commitment to growing the economy and making meaningful change in Kenya is disappointing. He should do at least a crash course on economics and geopolitics.

Too late. He had 10 years as DP to learn basics on such issues, but he instead was busy cutting deals to mint billions and scheming against his then boss. Ruto's problems is he cannot tell the difference between his plans for the country and his lies. He reminds me of a day dreamer. A person who cannot differentiate his fantansies from the reality.
