The military should take over to allow transition.
« on: June 25, 2024, 05:45:32 PM »
We tried to save Ruto but he was too arrogant to listen. He has lost the most importance thing in presidency, the bully pulpit. He will from now on not be listened to or taken seriously. He can decide to stay on and become a dictator but this is not 1982, Kenyans will not stand for it. He will be removed from state house, the fear is gone, the lambs are willing to lead the butcher to the slaughterhouse.

Just trying to avoid a vacuum of power, that’s treading on Somalia type collapse. If you have better ideas, air them here. All the other countries going through these type of revolution like Burkina Faso, Mali etc are doing it in different ways, some through civilian or military. Ruto is not going to call for an election to remove himself, I do not know what other choice we have.

Kenya is not Chad - Ruto is not Idris Deby dinosaur - he is elected president. But the corruption and arrogance. The mob wants Barnabas - shelve the bill - then give them Ndii and the fat, incompetent, pompous Murkomen.

First thing you'll see is serious inflation. Guaranteed. Too much money going into govt. then everything else will follow - erosion of middle class and the benefits, businesses will flee-no customers. How does a morally minded person tax bread at 25%???? How can someone making 20k afford it.??

There needs to be a system put in place to transition kenya out or this economic and political quagmire. Things are about to go very bad once everyone realizes what has just happened. This trauma and anger will be hard to contain

True, tomorrow will even be worse when Kenyans wake up to the killings done today. The anger is tribe less and real.. https://x.com/itskipronoh/status/1805478791638106575?s=46&t=3-3-_ehcZbukDCK7hNe5LA I am starting to connect the dots as to why General Ogolla had to die, some Kenyans insinuated it but I dismissed at as the usual online conspiracy. I heard Ruto filled Nairobi with his Kalenjin armed militia to kill people, if this is proven to be true, he has to resign.

Things have changed. The same is in Voi, Mombasa, Nyahururu, Eldoret, Kisii, only to name a few.
What use is life when you are 35 no job dependent on relas. And then the govt wants a 25% tax on you daily bread!!!
You see the irony here?
Parliament needed to be set in flames so as to cleanse the evil spirits

F&B and Georgeaoros - I surely hope you live abroad going by what you are advocating. Quite unpatriotic crying louder than the bereaved. You are bizarrely irrational. How is Chad or Somalia doing? - are the Syad Barres and Aidids suffering? - is it not the same masses stuck in the fire for generations?

Economic challenges are everywhere - Argentina has switched to the dollar to evade hyper-inflation. Britons are about to hang former rock-star chancellor Rishi Sunak. Cause inflation. Ramaphosa ANC just got humbled.

Ruto I suspect is about to make a tactical retreat. But the bitter pill is full dose - Ruto and Ndii are not the problem.

"Revolution", "burn down the castle", "chase the demons" - we have seen it all before. Ends very badly for everyone but especially those same poor.

Your bitterness and teeth- gnashing makes no sense at all.
