The last person to hold that position (as PS) was Dr. Ndemo. He, like Matiang'i believed being in charge of information made you some kind of Dr. Joseph Goebbels and by that a licence to tell lies and "defend" The Fuhrer!
In the short time Matiang'i has been in office:
- Today he is accusing the social media users of exploiting it to " 'intentionally' assassinate the characters of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto", his personal gods!
- He has appointed his former classmates and ethnic Kikuyus to the board of CAK and earned a rebuke from the High that nullified it. He is still plotting how to thwart the court
- He travelled to Doha to defend Uhuru and attempt to counter Al Jazeera expose on EJK in the country. He forgot to read UN reports on the subject before he left
- He has visited Kisii to "represent" Uhuru Kenyatta at a funeral where the Education Secretary was expected. He was booed;
