DRC is wilderness with two importants areas
1) Eastern DRC for minerals like gold, coltan, cobalt. M23 were on last stage to capture the last industrial mine.
2) Katanga - Fatso homeground down near Zambia in Lumbamshi - that has copper.
Once Eastern DRC is gone - its like Sudan without South Sudan (OIL) - it dies a slow painful death. The minerals that Fatso is flogging around is already outside his gov reach.
Now Sudan is losing west of Khartoum - another big mess - lots of minerals there - so Sudan is dead completely.

Kagame lacks the resources or know how to annex DRC
That is a pipe dream trying to establish an administration there means nothing
Pundit DRC is a huge endless country and unless Kagame can Conquer it he is not safe at all, what happens is time and resources are on DRC side they are bidding time get together their act and once they do so war ends in Kigali, Skinny Kagame opened a can of worms that will eventually eat him, I Promise you by end if this year you will be singing different
