Takataka and misfits are you and the cartoon guy. IMF and World Bank have lent countries low-interest loans for decades. Argentina, Egypt, South Africa, Ukraine, and other 100+ countries have been borrowing heavily for 30+ years and are doing well. Governments with corrosive corruption and no plans fail with these loans, but with an integrity-driven brother in charge, Kenya will, over time, see the prudent use of these loans.

Argentina   31,708,000,000   0   608,000,000   31,100,000,000

Argentina, Egypt, and Pakistan went overboard, having borrowed 20 times what Kenya has borrowed, but if you dig deeper, Argentina's internal economic/fiscal discipline is wanting. Loans need prudent use and management, and a country or individual will thrive, but disaster is waiting if mismanaged and not used for economic expansion. Ten years from now, Kenya will be a model country. Angola has borrowed 2x Kenya, but their corruption level is somewhat elevated. For some reason, they've managed to use the money for development! Kenya's institutions need to be continuously strengthened, especially the auditor general, Parliament, and Judiciary, to put brakes on corruption, and citizens need to continue churning out competent executives. Over time, things will improve!

Ethiopia borrowed more than Kenya then they went to war instead of development. These Chinese loans will bury them for good like it almost killed Kenya. SGR loan cannot pay itself according to report. Interest only for 999 years unless something is done. Chinese loans are 10X worse than pay day loans!

IMF loans check your credit worthiness.
China checks whether you are in need.
