Keroche has internal problems but its also true that they're operating in a very hostile tax environment. Africa spirits (humphrey maina) reopened last year and now its has shut down, they haven't even started production. Kenya is encourages importation instead of production.
At the current taxation rate muratina would be taxed at 125 per liter, this is what is preventing formalization of muratina into proper wine or mead that's bottled.
