Nothing like "clean coal". You saw how the Lamu Coal project died since no banks can be found to finance such a project.

Kenya's problem is the weak export to markets like China. Our trade deficit with China is enorm.

China is allover ,you cant reckon without them, green energy etc ,China correctly predicted in 2011 that EV will be a mbig thing and invested heavily back then now  almost over 100 chinese EV manufacturers among other solar etc Europe ,US were deep asleep only with Tesla's
Ruto can get some traction with chinese like i mentioned he needs apologies to them profusely,chinese understand honor , Chinese can easily set up their EV , solar plants in Kenya Ruto need scout for the bottom of the barrel chinese green manufacturers and lure them to Kenya where there will be top of the barrel and Kenya will evolve.
