What a waste of time. Kenya stopped being a dejure democracy in 2007 when Kibaki stole the elections from RAO and then Ouru/Ruto did the same in 2013 and 2017. I get bored when people talk as if the next president of Kenya will be elected by popular vote.  Ouru and Raila already have what they need to rule Kenya-the peoples tacit approval.  The supreme court ordered ouru to dissolve the parliament and he simply ignored them.  Ouru is already ruling the country through the military and folks are talking about elections. What elections?

I am yet to be convinced of 2017 general elections rigging - but the primaries were usual shenanigans. Kideros bought the ticket; Joho imposed the entire ODM lineup in Mombasa. Jubilee was a joke in most Kikuyu areas - it is how we coined it 1988 KANU mlolongo where DO as returning officer would declare the winner as the loser. 3 years later Kenya resumed multipartyism. Mobutu spent billions at the Jubilee carnivore - now it akin to a warzone - cause the tuko pamaoja nonsense was quicksand.

Mobutu has 15 MPs in entire GEMA - thanks to the war of attrition. Kieleweke were 10 2 years ago - but the exodus of Ann Waiguru, Cate Waruguru, Sara Korere, Kanini Kega, Sabina Chege, name it. MCAs are the worst - Kiambu raised 2/3 to sack Waititu; Laikipia they defected en masse to Handshake. Nairobi new speaker was unopposed in BBI lineup. ODM Majiwa got deputy speaker unopposed. Not even a whiff of Tangatanga.

Robina Taking an example of Central province above , I’ve made a summary to show you the come back rate of MPs ,  out of 39 Mps elected in previous parliament only 8 managed to make it back representing a come back rate of 20%
Now together with your analogy below goes to debunk the myth you’ve been peddling that by Having elected MPs supporting a National Kingpin represents  the popularity on ground and will translate to votes in the General elections.

To the contrary ,as you have seen most of the MPs make it to parliament by the virtue of popular parties , in 2013 Central was TNA , in 2017 it was Jubilee and the. Bare truth is that politicians use all tactics at disposal to make sure they win the nominations from rigging , intimidation , bribing party officials to violence. It ain’t a secret that in Central majority of outgoing MPs bribed Murathe to be rigged in, Murathe pocketed the money and most MPs made it by stuffing ballots and voting multiple times. Remember the Tuju /Murathe Jubilee smart cards which Ruto trashed last minute and printed more ballots.

Now even going to 2022 elections even the so called Ruto loyalists in Central some of them won’t make it back , that’s the reality but at least they know they will get a soft landing . I foresee some Cabine Secretaries in Rutos entourage .

These were cheated by Murathe  with smart cards , they went and bought the smart cards and sat preety at home , they even stopped campaigning . Then the unedpected happened ,  After mismanagement of the nominations where there was shortage of ballot papers a scheme by Murathe  and co to rig in candidates , Uhuru handed over the nomination exercise to Ruto. Ruto trashed the smart cards and printed more ballot papers, this caight the Murathes candidates offguard . Hence the beef they have .

In regards to 2022 , elected members having checked the statistics are much more tactical now (look at Muranga) They want to make sure there is no popular party aka 2007 where the rate of survival would be higher , hence all the shenaningams and the urge to balkanize the country. Mandera in North Eastern Managed it i 2017 elections through PDR,  Wairia, chege and Nduati want to do it using CRP, but they forget thatin Central its the wanjikus who determine the direction politicians will take , mot the other way around.

Now together with your analogy below goes to debunk the myth you’ve been peddling that by Having elected MPs supporting a National Kingpin represents  the popularity on ground and will translate to votes in the General elections.

To the contrary ,as you have seen most of the MPs make it to parliament by the virtue of popular parties , in 2013 Central was TNA , in 2017 it was Jubilee and the. Bare truth is that politicians use all tactics at disposal to make sure they win the nominations from rigging , intimidation , bribing party officials to violence. It ain’t a secret that in Central majority of outgoing MPs bribed Murathe to be rigged in, Murathe pocketed the money and most MPs made it by stuffing ballots and voting multiple times. Remember the Tuju /Murathe Jubilee smart cards which Ruto trashed last minute and printed more ballots.

Now even going to 2022 elections even the so called Ruto loyalists in Central some of them won’t make it back , that’s the reality but at least they know they will get a soft landing . I foresee some Cabine Secretaries in Rutos entourage . 

Tortured argument- MP high churn rate has nothing to do with party or factions - it is universal. Moses Kuria or Wuchomba might not come back and that is unrelated to Uhuruto manenos.
