What part of the constitution gives this guy power to nominate someone as acting police inspector General? The closest constitution gets to this is that the president should remove him due to mental or physical inability to perform the functions of this office..

We are slowly creeping to constitution crisis...

Meanwhile, reading Chebukati has totally excluded the 4 from all Commission manenos: total breakdown huko IEBC. Creeping slowly but surely.

Do you think maybe our own Njuri is right and that Kamwana has deliberately planned this all along to screw with everyone (including Raila)? After all, I keep asking myself: If it's at all true that they have evidence of infiltration at the IEBC, why didn't they do anything b4 we voted? Be4 we counted? If they were afraid people would read it as interference, why didn't they publish everything? We would've forced/demanded an audit and clean-up of the server. So if it's true there's evidence of people screwing with the system from kitambo (as alleged), I'm looking at Uhuru and his people with very suspicious eyes and wondering what the game plan is . . . I don't think it's being done for Baba's sake/Azimio.

Scary stuff - Ruto should ask for help from Museveni to remove the Ufool pest from statehouse

Has it really come to this Pundit?: Calling for outsourcing of a neighboring country to bring violence to Kenya? For years you have ceaselessly posted on this blog about what Kalenjin warriors can/will do...  suddenly you stop and now you are calling on M7. Sad.

When I speak - of Kalenjin warriors - I am not speaking as Kalenjin - I am analysing what Kalenjin nation will likely do... about 90 percent of Kalenjin - and worse about 30 percent or so who are savages - and will not hesitate to kill for Ruto.

And if you disagree - go to my village now and call Ruto an idiot - chance are high someone will beat you up badly.

What do you do when a defeated ufool doesn't want to go home..and is busy executing civilian coup against elected pork...Ruto would be a fool not play rough..he has Americans, the British and Museveni plus enough Kenya forces. You had no problem when uhuru unleashed army n NIS on chebukati. Now if it was me I would order some of these kibicho and matiangi killed including ufool..it's better than civil war with lots of causalities .When Musyoka was killed where were you.Ruto should keep tabs on supreme court...he only need three judges to sit out and he is pork because supreme court is 5 bench quorom..can't allow another 2017

Why are you panicking and suggesting even more constitional crises than the ones already simmering at other top institutions? If you guys can bribe justices to abstain, why not have them vote for you instead instead of plunging us in a scenario where it seens like thereno SCORK for election disputes? Me, I'm waiting to see first what is presented at SCORK. Pleadings can make all sorts of claims but eventually, we just need the server logs. I hope Kila Mtu atulie meanwhile before calling for civil wars and invasions from our neighbors? Wakenya, jameni.

Raila n uhuru with all deep state and system lost..they are trying to execute a civilian coup with iebc commissioner they hired.Right now the future of the country depends on again compromised supreme court..this for me is time for Ruto to play rough and ensure we don't end up in constitutional crisis..all we need are brave three judges to sit it out if environment become toxic for proper judicial review.. everyone in the world know Ruto won.So it's they validate the win or they don't render a decision then Ruto get sworn in...and we try Raila, uhuru and iebc commissioner for treason..and move on.

chebukati verified in the results in presences of agents, observer and on live TV.These four iebc commissioner were definitely hired to skew the results and failed. They are commiting treason and will be left holding the wrong end of the stick in a week time.IEBC commissioner have no role in presidential election where chebukati is the presidential RO.

Highly suspect this guy is dead. Btwn what happened to the case where his son using GK car killed 3 guys. Impunistas pure. Most will end up in exile or in jail.

dear  Mami
uhuru's power is limited during the electoral process. ruto knew this and executed a civilian coup against the state. internal security consulted with stakeholders. it was agreed that uhuru needed to use his executive powers to stop chebukati. after deliberations uhuru asked he be given night to make the decision. he choose not to arrest chebukati and ca off the tally. it is only him at this point who knows rhe reasons. he may have consulted his inner circle and decided he didn't have the power to do so. I got this information from a second source that has very close ties within county commissioners group. uhuru is the one who let the coup happen to what end or why we don't know.

remember Alai on Friday before announcement making this tweet "uhuru has saved the day". that was what he was alluding to. everyone was waiting for uhuru to get the process stopped and elections annulled

Some people with this level of stupidity. How do you arrest IEBC chair duting election time.
Uhuru might be a bad person but certainly not naive.

If what you're saying is true, then whatever chaos happens, it's still his fault.

Pure garbage. Uhuru has never done a single day honest work sober or not sober. Things are done for him. Defacto president is mama Ngina and Muhoho. Every decision, he has to consult his mother....

Njamba priss lay off kiraiko

Contaminated crew...any police officer who takes orders of bamboo or whatever his name is acting as police IG will have themselves to blame. Refer to the constitution.

Mutyambai just had to feign illness. I guess he may have been summoned by Ruto or he feared being summoned; which he is legally obliged to obey, and the only way out was to feign illness.
Very hard times these ones.
