On the contrary I feel they live a carefree world and able to mint millions from both sides. But our current lot are all just Kenya kwanza loosing from the nominations and others afraid to be rigged out by moneyed politicians,thats what happened to Kawira Mwangaza.

Nope . Independents are basically people who didnt make it during prumary nominations with the dorminant party in the region.
Majority in the next term usually use thw dormunant party to vie.
Most of the Independents vied in UDA and didnt make it in the Primaries.
