Nairobi NAIROBI nairobi
« on: August 12, 2022, 11:34:38 AM »
All right guys I have unraveled this puzzle. cosmopolitan kiambu and nairobi county is the battle ground. if raila has performed in nairobi the way azimio candidates have he is president elect. if he hasn't then  ruto is your president. that why Azimio is combing nairobi constituencies for every vote.
Most western voters who didn't travel Home voted where they reside in nairobi, kiambu and surrounding Maa counties
All in All ruto has arrived on the national stage and it is his to perform as he wishes

You are right, we have seen scenes of Nairobi Returning Officers refusing to declare presidential and M.P races, supposedly because a few Preciding Officers and their hard copy forms have gone into the ether.
This is also why governor tallies are held up

Yes Nairobi is critical but all form 34As were already uploaded. What Azimio can do is stop ROS but Chebukati will decide the next court of action.

Nairobi Azimio zoning helped.. notice how in the past 2013-17 CORD & NASA parties split the vote while Jubilee was united.

Zoning is the key factor. Eg Kayole - Luo, Kamba and a few Kikuyu saved Babu Owino.

Anything on Sakaja vs Igathe?

Dagoretti South - Ruto 40k - Raila 27k
Embakasi North -  Ruto 33k  - Raila 34k
Embakasi West - Ruto 35  - Raila 45k
Kasarani -  Ruto 55k - Raila 35k

Opinion polls got Nairobi wrong. It appears Ruto will take it. Hustler Nation was mostly an urban narrative and it worked.

Both Sakaja and Ruto have defied the tribal arithmetics.

Those are Kikuyu areas.. factor slums and Raila beats Ruto.

How come UDA lost most of those MP seats? Was there cheating?

I think projection from UDA itumbi - Ruto won Nairobi by believe it 52% or something like that.

They simply defied tribal arithmetics

Now that Sakaja has won Nairobi. It may be over for Raila. it was a great run for raila being a competitive contensant for 2x5 years is not a small feat
