The AI, known as BlenderBot, repeats material it finds on the internet. Asked about Zuckerberg, the bot said: "He is a good businessman, but his business practices are not always ethical. It is funny that he has all this money and still wears the same clothes!" Meta is inviting the public to chat with BlenderBot and share feedback with developers. In 2016, Microsoft (LinkedIn's parent company) tried to get Twitter users to train its "Tay" bot but it quickly backfired as the bot made racist and politically inflammatory statements.
