raises temperatures with lots of bluster over a congressional visit to Taiwan.  After the visit, they thump their chest like Kim Jong Un, and somehow the United States is to blame? 

Just weird.  Because US leaders visit China all the time, but you never see Taiwan get their knickers in a twist.

It is more of throwing their weight around. You see they still have something to prove regarding their [new superpower] status. Basically noone else can think of visiting the place: I heard a UK parliamentary committee planning something, but noone Pelosi level from anywhere will be visiting Taiwan soon.
