Kikuyu music seem stuck forever in 1980s - it seem to just get stuck in mugithi - and doesnt seem to incorporate any new gengre like kamba, luo and even kalenjin music.
It like Luhya music still stuck in same place..of shaking sholders vigorously
Please upgrade the music - add a bit of everything - and create modern flair - saa hii ni kama ilikwama pale pale 1950....country music ama kenny rogers.
I must admit I find the Luo music and language quite uniquely melodious - but maybe it's me...it has lingala /french africa feel to it.

Old school music isokey. Most of it in Kenya is heavily influenced by Congolese Rhumba(especially Benga) which in turn is originally Cuban. Kenya's best music has always been Twist, Benga, Mugithi etc.
