If he was hoping for Ken Matiba homecoming from London hospital or Kibaki in 2002 pole kwake. He is playing too many little cards and big boys are just ignoring him. They know he has no aces or jokers - just too many little cards that one ace can block.

Him and Kiunjuri have played themselves offside.

They should have played in UDA tent - and hope to make dpork or ministers in Ruto gov - by contributing to the party success - rather than shouting about briefcase party that may not win even one seat.

Now they are stuck - UDA is popular in the ground - Azimio is beckoning with money. You take the money - it's end of you and the party.

If I was to advice them - close the deal with Ruto - however little you get - it's better than nothing.

Too many strategic and tactical blunders have allowed Robert Rigathi Gachagua to literally run alone - maybe Alice is still standing - and will definitely get one big seats.

I dont think Ruto will want folks who are not team players near him - they will be treated at arms length. Rigathi has to approve them first.

This was expected. The issue is will they give it credibility - by repeating and promoting this narrative. I can bet. They are desperate to win back Mt kenya. They played Kiambaa massacre but it has worked. They have talked about Ruto trying to kill Uhuru and even sleeping with his wife.
