All those are broke spent politicians trying to revive their kiosks for little change. DP is a force that has taken seasoned politicians like Uhuru, Martha, and the rest in circles a few months to elections. Like Moi said a long time ago, " Power is in the hands of wananchi" As such, Ruto figured that out long ten years ago and started investing in Wanachi at churches, Mosques, roadside, schools, kiosks, online, Harambees, and anywhere in between. He shook hands with influential local folks, opinion shapers, fund Boda Boda guys, mama mbogas, and regular joes in cities and the countryside. This massive investment in people is paying off in real-time. Most folks who attend his rallies have a favorable opinion about him because they have experienced or heard about the DP. In such an environment where people are excited about the popular candidate, competitors and haters struggle to find a footing, like the way Uhurus, Marthas, Kurias, Railas, Gideons, Kalonzos, and other mediocre politicians are confused in the political marketplace. It pays handsomely to shake hands and form friendships at places of worship, schools, local organizations, markets, and points where regular folk throng. Dummy Uhuru thought killing Jubilee alone would kneecap DP completely. Like Moi again, with that long neck, DP knew that to get to the height of Jubilee party popularity, he had to form his party early and campaign aggressively to reach or exceed Jubilee level. Five months before the election, Jubilee is dead, and UDA has exceeded expectations. DP is now officially the greatest politician in Kenyan history. Even Raila, the veteran and geriatric politician nick-named "enigma," is 10 points behind DP, yet he has the full support of the sitting president, ruling political party, and the system. Like him or hate, the DP is the mogul of Kenya's politics. What can he do with his sober brainy self if he can propel a complete drunkard like Uhuru to the presidency?
