Putin is forcing his way to a deal.
Unfortunately NATO dont realise they are years behind Putin.
By the time they realise Biden will be out and majority of the European leaders will be out and Putin will still be there.
The way to handle Putin is just how Clinton and Bush did. Negotiate and put him closer.

Putin miscalculated. Europe was already drawing away from US. Look at France-US rift for example. Was getting bold, nasty and louder than rectangular guy. Now NATO will speak Brandon language and run back to hide under US skirt. Brandon will be biggest beneficiary after bungling Afghanistan. Putin has almost nothing to gain.

Its not that simple. U.S. is already negotiating with Russia directly.
Putins goal is to ensure NATO doesnt expand further. His redline was Ukraine.  A simple mistake and NATO will be called bluff like in 2014.
Have you ever heard U.S. barking without biting like they are doing now. They fear any thing which could lead to confrotation with Russia.

You should be asking what is the objective.
Simple Russia is a federation made of Different Republics.
If Ukraine gets access to NATO or weapons are placed in Ukraine . Then Russia sovereignity will be tested and will didintegrate into many countries. Most of the resources are located in the Non Ethnic Rus.
Reason why U.S. moved eastwords for them disintegration of Russia means more business opportunities for Americans as they would establish their companies to manage the resources.
A big Miscalculatuion by Biden and the then SOS lead to them losing Crimea then which they had really eyed on to control Black Sea area of Influence.  A miscalculatiin now will lead to a new Country which will act as a buffer between Russia and NATO.
Biden seema to have weighed his options . He is now talking of making a deal.

What does Russia have to offer the people of Ukraine? Certainly not economic growth. The economy of Russia with 146 million is smaller than that of Italy 60 million. Why blame the Ukraines for aspiring for economic growth through links to the EU? The former Eastern Block countries that joined the EU like Poland, Estonia, etc have been completely transformed since the 1990's. None of them want to hear anything about Russia.
Russia cannot conlonise countries like Ukraine. It will not work.

Where are the facts? ou have just stated assumptions. Russia like China is an independent state with big militar power. Why is China an economic giant and not Russia? Can ou mention even one item found in Kena that is made in Russia apart from Vodka? Nobod stops Russia from developing apart from Russians themselves.
