Kenya budget is 3 trillion - Kenya economy is 11trillion. Police steals from 9trillion that KRA did not tax you. You're not very smart. Politician are stealing from 800B kshs.....police and others are stealing from what is left from KRA..almost 10 trillion (more than 10 times more)...which is a lot more and is double taxation.
All thieves should go to jail but it even nice if we recover the stolen money.

If you have 50K police each going home with 5K bribe per day - that 100B from police alone per annum. Police generally dont care about their salary - the bribes they get is probably double their salaries...collected from changaa, traffic, miraa, covid, name anything.
Now go through all gov officials stealing from kenyans in one way and the other - and you will find this probably equal to another KRA out there...they especially target the vulnerable bottom who cannot operate legally or dont have wherewhital to get gov services without bribing.
From nurse to doctors to police to name it - most gov officials are out there looking for opportunities to get bribed. Unregulated private sectors like doctors and lawyers are out there to SHAKE BILLIONS off poor citizens...youre one court case or sickness away from bankruptcy.
It's good E-Citizen and digitization has removed most of them from gov services...
