Also all gov land including road reserve should be planted with trees.

We were doing fine under Moi - tree planting wise. KFS should be working with ministry of education to have every school run a tree nursery - by supplying them with materials.

This only way to delay climate change....or even reserve it...definitely create a micro-climate
.

So you see value in tree cover after all? I thought you wanted to bulldoze Nairobi National Park, Gigiri and other forests because maendeleo!

Make up your mind bwana, one day you are anti environmental philistine, the next your an environmental crusader. We ni thiatha mingi tu na ukabila imajaa akili yako.

Nairobi National Park is worth 30B dollars. I think we can sell that - and with the money - buy a lot of land for animals, forests and etc.

I am not saying plant trees and make them sacred. Trees, forests and other natural resources are for use by humans. They are not to be worshipped as untouchable.

My many acres of trees - are for commercial reason - first and foremost - enviroment is added benefit. I expect 10 percent cover - people will use it to cook - to keep beehieves - and to eventually cut them and replant them.

The same in Europe - commercial tree planting is done - to provide the IKEA with all the lumber -

But how are they going to fulfill ecological functions like mitigating climate change if you think of trees as a temporary resource?

Would you advocate chopping down the Amazon forest?

Europe cherishes its virgin forests and won't dare anyone touch it, they lament the mistakes of their forefathers. That is why they come here in droves at least we have some semblance of real wild life, self willed nature not some shit a paper making company planted and called it a forest.

I'm beginning to suspect you are under the influence of some substance bwana.

My ideas evolve and get better - you could also improve if you were open to continuous learning.

Definitely we should protect some ecologically critical resources - for example - that little swamp in Kitale holding rare and endangered antelopes - we can keep that.

Just like we preserve museums, old buildings and such

But Amazon or Mau - if we are chopping bits and piece - no problem. Brazil are doing that.

NNP has no ecological significance - and is worth so much - it's a no brainer to me.

Only thing hoaxer than climate change us using hoax to further tribal agenda.

What tribal agenda is there for challenging Luos to plant trees. You come from Kakamega. You guys woke up in 2000s and took to tree planting. That is very good. You know as soon as you pass Kiboswa - the trees disappear.

Not everything is about Ruto.

Some of us have been here when we supported Kibaki in DP

Then we supported Raila.

Then we supported Uhuru.

Then Ruto.

And if Ruto dies today - we will be here to support someone else.

One thing that I have always maintained even when I opposed Kibaki or NARA or UHURU - is my undying patriotism for kenya.

Dealing with LOW IQ people is very tiring. In fact apart from wakina HK and Njamba - Veritas - this forum should be shutdown for promoting UJINGA.

In fact I am considering quiting - which will automatically lead to its dead - I find twitter nowadays to be intellectually stimulating.

This has become worse than bar or muguga talk....and yet folks are suppose to be anonymous.

Only thing hoaxer than climate change us using hoax to further tribal agenda.

Good. Continue learning.

Hongera sana, you are seeing the light!

Noo! One step forward two steps backward :021:

You are not an expert Bw Koech, hapana ingilia mambo ya watalamu.

Stick to Ruto topics.

I have no problem if we sell NNP after a proper NEMA and ecological study.

Ruto has studied plant ecology to PHD level.

He will be one of the experts.

Kenya actually want to increase tree cover to 10%.

Why shoot ourselves in the foot.

I get your motive though.

You are angling for the bigger prize - Mau forest.

If NNP is degazetted, it opens door for your people to squat once again on our water catchments.

Mulifunzwa tabia mbaya na baba yenu Moi, kuiba mashamba, ku kata msituni, na kadhalika.

Your are itching for those dark times.

Be assured that is never going happen.

NNP is bigger than Mau. Its enough to pay off all our external debt.

Ouru is rich enough to pay off all our external debts. He took on those loans let him payoff.

Our parks and wildlife shouldn't pay for the profligacy of Uhuruto.
