I still maintain my position that integrity chapter applies for all gov official except where constitution (the same constitution) overrides for Mps/Pork/Governors by saying
only one is INELIGBIBLE if they have been 1) FOUND Guilty and 2) Have exhausted all forms of appeals. Plain clear English.

In short Uhuru cannot be a minister in his own gov But he can be the president.

Uhuru and Ruto were actually the first victim of Chapter six. Uhuru immediately lost his Finance Ministry and Ruto his Higher Education when they were charged by ICC. They both kept their political offices of MPS and Uhuru's Prime Minister.

Now when they decided to run for PORK - the constitution gave them that opportunity.

Chapter six - is meant for civil servants - but people elected directly by the People - it doesn't apply.

Chapter six expect non-political civil services of highest integrity - but it leave the elected leadership to be sorted by Wananchi.

Pundit perhaps you have conveniently forgotten that the greatest derailment of the Constitution happened in 2013 when people with integrity issues were allowed to run for PORK and running mate. Mu-tunga allowed them to trample Chapter Six in the mud and you sang like a teenage cheerleader. You even declared Odunga crazy. Just reading through the two threads below makes one wonder what happened to your consistency, which was rarely there.
