UDA has evolved. Initially I think Ruto was not keen to take on Jubilee in mt Kenya - and preferred letting Moses Kuria/Mwangi Kiunjuri to build their parties - and then eventually merge in Hustler Coalition. It now appears UDA is going directly to Mt Kenya - because Kuria/Kiunjuri have small traction - and most Mt Kenya hate Uhuru so much they are willing to jump directly to UDA. The small parties did win in Muranga and somewhere else...but from where I see....Mt Kenya want to be in UDA..not kamikaze tissue paper party.
So expect more forceful UDA in Mt Kenya as we go forward. Ruto is going for Mt Kenya directly.
Remember Ruto is smart operator trying to avoid any contest with Uhuru - coz surely Uhuru has bigger mortal enemy - in TIME
. Uhuru has 14 months max - actually in reality six months - to be TOTALLY USELESS FOREVER
Next would be to tell Tissues Paper party of Kiunjuri to collapse his thing and join UDA /Hustler Nation.
I have been asking if UDA is fielding Kiambaa or it more excuses to avoid potential embarassment. Having lost most non-Gema and Kikuyu 50-50 split in London and Hell's Gate, UDA has understandable imperative to maintain the fiction of Mt Kenya under lock & key. At least ODM is not afraid to face off with Jubilee in Gusii.
Juja, Rurii, Kiambaa? How will you maintain the Mt Kenya fiction if you are beaten Pundit? I mean besides the usual excuses about cops or chiefs or respecting Uhuru.
