can african govts be trusted with this virus thing....

what extent are guinea, liberia, sierra leone cooking figures on ebola ...how many deaths are being missed in the remote villages

Quote
The cumulative number of Ebola cases for Liberia and Sierra Leone could double to approximately 8,000 by the end of September 2014. This estimate is within the range of other published estimates (8,9). Cases could be underreported by a factor of 2.5, and ending the epidemic requires approximately 70% of persons with Ebola to be treated either in an ETU or at home or in a community setting such that there is a reduced risk for disease transmission (including safe burial when needed).

what is so hard in taking cheap measures like provision of thermometers to all households in risk areas such as busia, malava..those traveling from west africa ..a thermometer worth 150 shillings and awareness on where/why/when to run to the hospital

has anyone seen an advert on kenyan tv on ebola...all am seeing is this IFAS thing...think I say one on dstv

what/who/how does the funny conspiracy theories help here?!!

IN this instance, every man for himself.  Relying on a GoK that can't secure us from the very visible human shaped and sized Al Kebabs is a big ask especially when the enemy is a tiny almost invisible virus...

I pray every day that this disease stay well clear of our borders. The poor hygiene in the country plus corruption will decimate Kenya. Even then I extend my prayers to Asia. God grant that this distemper never step in Asia. If it does, then we are all dead.

My prayer too.
Going by Kenyatta Hospital standards, we will be doomed. What happens there stays there.
Very poor management.
