China is MUCH more meritocratic than the US and Western politics in general. How many "princes" (children of former "big" names) have become American Presidents, Senators, House Members, and Governors? The anti-Chinese aggressive posture in Western media and discourse is far from objective and has been getting hyped for a while now, reaching hysterical levels under Trump (and now, Biden too). The West needs to get used to the bitter pill: The U.S. is no longer alone at the top and won't be number one for long, now. It's not even debatable anymore. The qustion is when, not "if" China becomes the World's top economic power (then military power).

15 year survey/study by Harvard not the CPC, published just last year, reporting levels of satisfaction with their government among Chinese ordinary citizens.

Also, if the Chinese are so desperate to move to the West, why would over 150 million of them go there as tourists and happily return home to China? These are people with money to burn in trips around the world? Accepting the stories of the same people who gave us Saddam's WMDs, Assad's Chemical attacks, Ghaddaffi's fake "truce"/peace-keeping intervention, Russiagate, Venezuela evil Socialism justifying a coup after elections, Supporting a coup in Crimea then pretending Russia is the aggressor when they inevitably move to protect their interests in response, Hugo Chavez, etc, etc;, and countless more "truths" conveniently preceding destructive military/economic take-downs . . . THESE are now to be believed with their latest battle cry of "EVIL CHINA!!!" . . . just as China starts to move too uncomfortably close to current No. 1 and threaten to displace a 500+ year Western Hegemony.
