Cash crunch pushes NYS bus project to a screeching halt
« on: February 19, 2021, 12:40:21 PM »
One really wonders what Kenyan officials are paid to do when reading something like this. How can a transport project be created without providing cash for maintaince of the vehicles? Is this nuclear science? Also those buses are not made for day to day public transport. I think our guys have only eyes for what is in it for themselves.

It was no brainer that it would go nowhere. The same NYS under Moi brought down KBS.

The redesign of the matatus to comply with the social is what NTSA should seize. If the design is safe for the long term it should be the new norm as standalone seats have little room for overloading which is the one of the elitist beef with matatus.

This is what happened during Moi. Same crap with no policy and money behind it.
