Because attacking him would be lethal. This is the same reason I believe Tangatanga don't want a duel in Nairobi - if PK become the face of GEMA in face-off that very bad for Ruto. Tangatanga has no credible GEMA (or any big tribe) and that is Ruto's big disadvantage.

Raila of course skillfully hide behind Uhuru-PK. Stepping down in Handshake spirit - and make it Uhuru-Ruto duel. So long as GEMA remain the fulcrum the hapless puppy will continue to magically show up in big events - speaking just before Raila or Kalonzo. Luck, timing, pretty face, take your pick.

PK will be GEMA successor of course. Which could be a travesty or good for them. Uhuru is ensuring it by giving him PM in BBI lineup. As usual you can tell us it is Nyoro the new Matiba who speaks for GEMA. And we can tell you Alfred Keter is the new Samoei paramount chief.

PK is paper tiger - not even worth Moses kuria attention. Why would Ruto reduce himself to discuss a nobody. Ruto is watching two guys keenly - Matiangi - and Raila. The rest do not feature in his radar. PK is somebody who got beat in Nairobi where GEMA makes up 30% in Jubilee nomination (GEMA makes 70% of the voters).

Raila obviously a strong candidate that is god sent because he evoke strong resistance in Gema minds.
