He'll pull a Kibaki.  Unlike Kenya the army is his personal property.

He is risking a revolution. Partly because his tough corona lockdown has left Ugandans bartered and hopeless. Poor people need to fend for themselves - to make rolexes and sell on the road.

Like Trump - his plan is misfiring.

And now he has to hope the army generals don't go rogue.

And they can go. Esp if Western Nations pull strings - the Army don't like Museveni planning his son takeover anyway - Gen Muhoozi. They may respect Museveni - but his son - is planning a take over.

He is already stretching their humanity - by forcing them to kill uganda youths.

M7 best strategy remain to kill Bob Wine now and deal with consequences - the more it goes on - the more embolden ugandans become.

At this point - I am 50-50 on M7 future as Uganda leader.

Dictators get kicked when they least expect by the people they least expect - like the Musician Bobi Wine. M7 is totally at loss how to respond to a muscian - he has primed himself as intelligent military strategist - but Ugandans are tired with long  intellectual theories - and want change.

Bobi Wine is already popular as a  musician.  So that is actually not an easy candidate to handle.  I have seen some of his rallies are just reruns of his hits and the crowd loves it.

I think the guy keeps very close tabs on the people who can remove him in the military.
