I think if they just lock out Njoki and Githus - such damaged goods or political hacks - Lenaola and Ahmednassirs can battle fairly without much interference. I have always viewed judge as very boring monotonous job. Such unadventurous, dead-end straightjacket. Legal kikuyus like Fred Ngatia, Muite, Kamau Kuria are too greedy for top-dollar to go for it. It requires brilliant but composed folks - Nzamba Kitonga types. Most top minds or politicians are not cut for such.

At appellate level you're dealing with mostly novel/new issues on a daily basis - so not boring - as lower courts - where you're dealing with facts of the case - not the laws - and that is boring part - because you have to listen to many SOB stories.

Maraga will be on major speaking circuits around the world unlike some of our comedians. Too bad at his age but he can easily land some of the UN legal positions like human rights commissioner.

Yes if interested in money - go for it. Judges do enjoy some serious privilege's and salaries as good as Mps - gov vehicles, police officers, gov houses, etc
